How Do You Choose to Diffuse?

The first thing to cross most people's minds when it comes to diffusing essential oils is likely a standard, table-top diffuser like this Dessert Mist diffuser (one of my favorites!):

But in reality, there are so many fun ways to diffuse essential oils and enjoy everything they have to offer all day long, no matter where you are! One of my absolute favorite diffusers is a necklace diffuser. I like to make sure I get a durable, high quality necklace made of stainless steel so as not to have any adverse skin reactions from inferior metals. You can even get them in precious metals like sterling silver! Two diffusion delivery systems are usually found in necklaces: felt pads or lava beads. I personally prefer the lava beads, but both types of necklace are beautiful! When using the lava beads, I recommend carefully placing 1 drop of oil on the bead, returning it to the locket, and then resting the locket on your chest beneath your shirt while the oil absorbs into the bead. This way, you get to benefit from any excess oil transferring to your skin instead of having to waste it by wiping it off with a tissue. Check out some of my favorites bellow!

If you aren't a fan of necklaces, additional jewelry items are available on the market such as diffuser rings, bracelets and lockets on wrist bands too (they look quite similar to a watch). Take a look at some of my favorites below:

Another neat product is a diffuser for your vehicle. There are a few different types on the market right now. Some are clip diffusers that attach to your air conditioning vents and diffuse oils from the interior felt pad as the force of air enters your car. There are a few other varieties that are powered from your auxiliary power outlet. This type usually warms the essential oil to diffuse it throughout your vehicle. You'll find some of my favorite designs below. (Interestingly, the third on the list can also be used as an escape tool to break the car window in case of emergency!)

Another fun product to consider is the USB diffuser, either in the form of a USB stick or the table top variety. Young Living offers the first one listed below in white, pink and purple too!
